Scholarships
At the Northern Sydney Institute, part of TAFE NSW, we believe in providing affordable education to international students. For 2016, we have made 40 scholarships available to genuine applicants who want to fulfil their education dream in Australia.

Each scholarship is valued at AUD 2,000 and will be awarded to students who have demonstrated academic merit and other achievements. Twenty of these scholarships are specifically allocated to students who wish to study Accounting, Business and Management courses.

NSI Students in Vietnam

These lucky 10 students (plus teacher Lesley Guthrie) have travelled to Vietnam, thanks to the Australian Government's Asiabound Mobility Program. The Asiabound Mobility Program encourages Australian students to immerse themselves in the academic and social cultures of other countries.

This year’s Mobility Program at NSI was aimed to help our students gain insight into the tourism and event industry in Vietnam, meet students studying similar vocations and develop an understanding of Vietnamese culture.

Students travelled to Hanoi, Da Nang and Hồ Chí Minh cities. As part of the visit, the NSI students and teacher visited KOTO. KOTO is a not-for-profit organisation in Australia that supports KOTO Foundation in Vietnam. NSI regularly offers a scholarship for a student from KOTO to come and study Hospitality at the prestigious Ryde Campus.

NSI International Student wins Rotary Club Award

Ms Hannia Esso, an International Student from Mauritius was awarded a Pride of Workmanship Award by the Rotary Club of Dee Why Waringah at a recently held event at the Dee Why RSL Club. Pride of Workmanship award recognises the sense of responsibility to do a job well, and Rotary considers this as one of the greatest intangible assets in our community. Hannia is currently studying the Diploma of Accounting at Northern Beaches Campus.

北悉尼学院学生在越南
这10名幸运的学生（加上老师Lesley Guthrie）得益于澳大利亚政府的Asiabound流动项目，他们已经前往越南。该Asiabound移动项目鼓励澳大利亚学生沉浸于其他国家的学术和社会文化。

今年在北悉尼学院的移动项目旨在帮助学生更深入地了解越南的旅游和会展业，使学生了解类似的职业和对越南文化产生理解。

学生前往河内，岘港和胡志明市。作为这次访问的一部分，北悉尼学院的学生和老师参观了KOTO。 KOTO是一个在澳大利亚的非营利性组织，用以支持在越南的KOTO基金会。 北悉尼学院定期提供奖学金帮助KOTO的学生前往其著名的Ryde校区学习酒店专业。

NSI国际学生获得Rotary俱乐部奖项

来自毛里求斯的国际学生Hannia Esso，在Dee Why的RSL俱乐部最近举行的一次活动中，由Dee Why Waringah的Rotary俱乐部奖励了做工奖荣誉。做工奖荣誉认证具有将工作做好的责任感，Rotary俱乐部认为这是在社区最大的无形资产之一。Hannia目前在Northern Beaches 校区就读会计文凭。
